As a member of Hainan Jiashuo, I was honored to attend the Boao Forum Gala and watch the full fashion show, filled with immense pride and inspiration. This globally renowned grand event is far from aloof. Instead, it showcases the stunning landscapes and local charm of Hainan to the world in a gentle yet powerful way.

  Under the night sky of Boao, the sea breeze blows gently, and the spotlighted T-stage shines brightly. Models walked gracefully and steadily down the runway. Their costumes ingeniously integrate Hainan’s natural elements with modern fashion designs, presenting the freshness of coconut groves and sea rhythms as well as the modern vibe of the Free Trade Port. Free from cumbersome and deliberate embellishments, every step and every outfit embodies the unique temperament of Hainan, tender yet powerful.

  In my view, this fashion show is more than a visual feast; it is a vivid voice of Hainan. Rooted and deeply engaged in Hainan for years, we have witnessed the tremendous transformation of this island. From a quiet coastal town to a world-famous Asian international exchange platform, Hainan boasts not only breathtaking mountains and seas but also an open, inclusive and progressive spirit.

   The Boao Forum serves as a window for the world to know Hainan, and this fashion show presents a brand-new side of the island. It breaks the stereotype that Hainan is merely a scenic coastal resort. Taking fashion as a medium, it interprets the island’s cultural heritage and innovative vitality, integrating local features with international trends.
